I took a job at CreativeWorks because I grew tired of using proprietary software.
After my first two months I was asked to fill in for the lead developer who was going to leave the main software project the agency was working on. This was very challenging because I didn’t really have the expertise to build an entire web application from back to frontend. But seeing the project live, was one of the most rewarding experiences in my professional career.
After we delivered the first version of the project, I started looking for a better web framework. This is how I got into Ruby on Rails, and how I discovered my passion for Ruby.
