I moved to Germany to work at SUSE. I was hired to be a part of a team behind a project called Machinery. Along the way, we switched focus to work on CloudFoundry, where I had a chance to be a part of the European BOSH team together with other SUSE and SAP colleagues.

Technically this was probably the most challenging job I’ve ever had. The people I worked with, were all very good developers and/or had very deep insights of how Linux works, who challenged me to be a better developer.

I’m specially thankful to my manager Cornelius Schumacher who always pushed me to get out of my comfort zone and do better. He taught me a great deal about OSS, commitment and professionalism.
